The Journey to Howdy Logic
I tried everything to run my club — financial software, spreadsheets, one club system after another. Every one of them bent my club to fit their software, and the add-ons just kept piling on. I kept hearing the same thing: “But Julie, most gun clubs don’t do it that way.” I’m not most gun clubs.
So I built my own.
It started with scoring. We needed a real scoring platform, so we built one — Helice Scores ↗. It’s still in its finishing stages; the tech kept moving, and I wasn’t going to build it just to redo it later.
Twenty years later, everything at Austin Gun Club runs from one place — memberships, scheduling, ranges, communications, kennel — and when something needs to change, I change it. When other clubs started asking how I did it, I knew it was time to share it. That’s Howdy Logic.
A little of my own story
